Tell your story

Have a story that could help a teacher coming up behind you?

Every teacher has a moment that taught them something. Sharing one could be exactly what a new teacher needs to hear. We work together through a collaborative interview where you control what you say and have input into how it's presented.

You choose how you appear, on camera or fully anonymous.

About the founder

About Professor Kent

Dr. Kelly Kent, Ed.D. is the founder of TeachReel® and the creator of Room 27: A Positive Classroom Management Curriculum for Teacher Educators™ andThe 3 C's PD™ for classroom management. She has spent three decades in classrooms — first as a San Diego elementary teacher, then supervising student teachers at The University of San Diego, and then teaching undergraduate and graduate-level classroom management at Sacred Heart University. Her 2026 doctoral research at Northeastern University examined the gap between what teacher-preparation programs teach and what new teachers actually face in diverse, mainstreamed classrooms. That research became the simulated-classroom curriculum built on The Three C's framework — the two anchors of the work she does now through TeachReel. She is a National Board Certified Teacher. She built TeachReel because new teachers shouldn't have to pay to survive their first years.
